Missions can be anything, from investigating, to retrieving someone or something, anything you can think of that seems relevant. Once you complete a mission, each person will be rewarded based on a personal input to the thread(s); staff will assess a mixture of how well-written the person's posts were, how much they contributed to moving the plot/thread along, etcetera. Staff can award anywhere from 20 to 500 EXP points (maybe even more) depending on how well-done the mission was. (Post in the notification thread to notify staff to check / reward your mission team.)Anyone can start / create / participate in a mission, and the creator of the mission can dictate how many of each players are needed. S&S runs on liquid time, so you may participate in more than one mission, but we ask that you try to limit yourself to the amount you can actively participate in. Missions do not have a proper posting order, so that if someone is not able to reply right away, it can continue on without having to pause.
In order to create a mission, take the template below by quoting it, fill it out, and post it in the 'OPERATING' board - people who wish to join it simply post below, stating as such. The creator of the mission should be the one modifying their inital post in order to edit in the names of the participants, and in most cases, start the thread.
(* JUST AS A NOTE *) If your mission involves a cross between exorcists and noah, please remember that never means one side has to win / defeat the other, unless the mission is explicitly to defeat the noah (which will be rare, and rather hard, don't you think).
