APPEARANCE Tall and slender, Cooper stands at six foot one and weights about 155 pounds. His body size prefers agility before strength. There isn’t a lot of distinguishing features about him that could be seen on exposed skin. There’s a burnt scar at the base of his throat in the shape of a cross. He wears a silver necklace that holds a garnet ring and a small silver cross. The man has two piercing on his left ear and is often seen carrying a small brown knapsack around one shoulder. The blondie can also be seen often with a cigarette dangling from his lips.

THE PERSONALITY

Charismatic and charming, Cooper can ease his way into your heart with his strange sense of humor and light banters. The problem is, as soon as he worms his way in, it just might be near impossible to remove the man. Many find this thrill seeker outgoing and spontaneous, easy to hang out with, though not as easy to confide in. The blondie is fiercely loyal to those he place his trust in as well as diligent, often described as having a one track mind when he is assigned a mission. It would take an incredible amount of force to derail him once he sets his sight on the goal. He finds friendship to be of utmost importance and it’s hard for him to forget a face once he’s made some kind of amicable interaction. This makes it incredibly hard for Cooper to accept the loss of a friend. He’s incredibly possessive and defensive, to the point of being violent when it comes to protecting those important to him.

Of course, some people find him a bit stubborn headed and pushy, especially to those who does not welcome his over enthusiastic friendliness. A shameless hedonist, Cooper does little to restrain his ‘id’. He’s usually motivated by pleasure and he hardly does anything without calculating the rewards in advance. He’s selfish, greedy, two-faced, as unabashed man-whore, and he’s not ashamed to tell you so. His bloated ego allows him to love his virtues as well as adore his vices. Cooper dislikes confronting conflicting emotions and often shy away from such situations by trying to change the subject or just blatantly ignoring it. Since becoming a member of the order, Cooper had begun to find himself cynical and bitter towards many things, with all the losses building up, though his facade of good fun continues to be the front he puts up for people.

MISCELLANEOUS FACTS

• An ex-cop from Pennsylvania, Cooper Nathans was the local bomb and fire power specialist before he was taken into the order at a rather late age.
  
• Cooper wears a cross around his neck but is not particularly religious. He believes in god but doesn’t go to church on Sundays or say grace before eating. It’s merely for just in case.
  
• He’s incredibly hygienic and finds most people to be pretty disgusting hygienically.
  
• His brown sack contains bombs of all kinds. They have no effect harming akumas, though it makes a pretty big bang to confuse them and is helpful when he needs to take down a building. There’s some candy in there too if you search hard enough
  
• Cooper is an idiot with machinery, often busting complicated machinery when he puts his hand on it, landing him the nickname of the human virus. He also is prone to motion sickness.
  
• Due to his motion sickness, Cooper often finds himself having to go from point A to point B by walking or running, all this inconvenience had made him into an incredible runner with astounding speed and endurance.

LEVEL 01

UNACTIVATED A simple pair of fingerless gloves with brass knuckles built in, the sucker punch looks pretty generic. The gloves are made of leather and burnt onto the palms is a pair of crosses. The knuckles are silver and can pack a punch.

ACTIVATED When activated, the leather of the gloves turn to steel gauntlets, becoming impenetrable. The gauntlets expand up to envelop Cooper’s shoulders as well as down to cover Cooper’s fingertips, with the fingers ending in sharp claws. The knuckles become slightly more pronounced and sharper.

OVERALL ABILITY at this point, the gloves have simple fire abilities as well as assist Cooper’s natural agility.

SUCKER PUNCH
Brawler allows Cooper to channel body heat into the gloves until they finally burst into flames. With his hands on fire, his punches could cause second degree burns in addition to the blunt damage of the metal gloves. Cooper can also send out fireballs about the size of basketballs and burst of hot air capable of burning if he flings his hands in the opponent’s direction. The usage of body heat leaves the user cold, therefore can’t be used continuously. However, if he sidles up to someone, he could steal their body heat for himself and empower the attack.

CLINGY BASTARD
With the help of the claws, which can latch onto concrete and pretty much anything, Cooper find himself able to climb and limber around almost anything as long as he’s grasping onto the object. This allows him to scale walls sideways as well as upside down, grab onto ledges, akuma, and even hold onto something going at high speed without slipping. Whatever object he’s holding onto is of course going to have a lot of holes left over with those claws sinking in.
